Opening Reception: Friday, January 28, 6-9 PM
Gallery Hours: Wednesdays-Saturdays, 1-6 PM

Hairy Bodies is a group exhibition inspired by the eroticisation and fetishization of large hairy men, otherwise know as bears. These artists explore and abstract this ideal of beauty, quite outside of the mainstream, through the mediums of video, photography, and installation. These sometimes playful and subversive works look at individual and group complexities, differences, and dynamics. Come for an intimate look at the strange beauty of bear hair, sexuality, and body aesthetics in all forms and possibilities.

PPARBear Walk

Friday, February 18, 6-9 PM

This special event is a reception for the exhibiting artists, and a presentation of Nick Dong's jewelry on live hairy bodies! Dong's handcrafted metal objects are both elegant and absurd, with decadent and obscure utilitarian functions that open discussions and convey concerns for our culture and living condition.
